Overview
Join CEFS' Committee on Racial Equity for a FULL 2 DAY workshop that will offer a shared language, a shared framework, and a shared history for understanding how barriers inhibit equity in the food system. This training aims to assist with setting meaningful goals and strategies to ensure racial equity in farm & food programs and policy.
Two-Day Schedule
(Times are flexible and subject to alter slightly):
Day one: Tuesday, February 7th (9:30 am to 3:30 pm)
1. Coffee and chat (9:15 am - 9:30 am)
2. Part I (9:30 am - 12:30 pm)
3. Lunch Break (12:30 pm - 1:15 pm)
4. Part II (1:15 pm - 3:30 pm)
Day two: Wednesday, February 8th (9:30 am to 2:30 pm)
1. Coffee and chat (9:15 am - 9:30 am)
2. Training continued (9:30 am - 11:30 am)
3. Lunch Break (11:30 am - 12:30 pm)
4. Conclude training and close (12:30 pm - 3:00 pm)
Due to limited space, they will prioritize those who HAVE NOT participated in a Level I/Introductory Racial Equity training before.
